New Year in Armenia is the start of winter celebrations. Armenian Orthodox church celebrates the Christmas on 6th of January. Starting from 2020 the Government invests more money to make the New Year celebrations more attractive for Armenians and for tourists. Not far from the Republic Square Northern Avenue is situated which hosts the cozy Christmas Market.
